Los Angeles area - I have a black 2009 XB12SCG. It has 1137 miles on it. I haven't been riding it to work much much lately since I moved and now one of the busiest freeway interchanges in the world is between me and work and since I also got married recently, I just don't feel like going anywhere by myself anymore in my free time. I think it's time for me to get a bigger 2-up cruiser. Am am this bike's only owner and rider - I was 37 when I bought it and I have no death wish so the bike has not been abused. I had the 1000 mile service performed and the latest Ulysses comfort flash installed so the motor heat isn't too bad, and about 5 months ago I replaced the battery because one of the battery cells crashed. The bike is in perfect shape, no scratches, no dents, no nothing. About 300 miles ago, I bought a second XB12 exhaust and sent it to Spec OPS to be modified. The pipe has the intact interactive exhaust valve and slash-cut dual exits (I asked for those). Also, I sent the pipe to Jet-Hot and had it coated with black ceramic, so that's not paint on the muffler - it's black ceramic 1500 degree coating. The front and rear turn signals have been replaced with Rizoma Aero 77's ($40 each) and Rizoma Class mirrors ($101 each). I have all the original parts somewhere so if you buy the bike, you get all the stuff on it plus the original turn signals, mirrors, and exhaust (you never know...it's nice to have if you get hassled by cops). I have a seat cowl on the bike, but there is a small crack in it - it IS repairable, but I also ordered another seat cowl (slightly different style) from American Sport Bike that I never installed - I will include both. There is also a cheesegrater eliminator from American Sport Bike with the 2010 LED tail light and LED license plate light One more thing - I was working on an OEM-looking HID headlight kit and got about half way into making one from a stock headlight housing. I have bixenon projectors installed in the housing, and I've tested them on a bench, but I never got around to cleaning up the wiring to go on the bike - I can throw in this project as well (there's really not much left to do - it only requires a little time (which I just don't have) to get the electricals squared away. I'm also open selling the HID kit separately if someone wants it. here's the thread I posted while I was working on the headlight with some pics. You'd be hard-pressed to find a cleaner, closer to showroom condition bike. Cash only - I would prefer a local face-to-face sale. I will NOT ship the bike to Nigeria, don't even ask. PM me if interested $6500

OMG I would have definitely bought this one as well had I found this forum earlier. What a beauty! Congrats for selling but I am sure it must have hurt. |
