OH, i got a rather curt email in early august that he had gotten busy with school and he would ship it and send the tracking number the next day, i emailed him back a couple days later for the tracking number and have not gotten a response since. i also got a private message from another forum member here with a similar experience, although it was for alot less money and they eventually got their item. |

I bought several items from him. One did take quite awhile to ship however the others came promptly. Everything was as described or better and well wrapped. |

There have a been a few of these deals like this lately. Can I suggest some "buyers rules"? (self enforced) 1) ALWAYS pay with PayPal 2) NEVER send the money as gift, always as purchased goods. If you send it as a gift, you will have no recourse or ability to file a claim with PayPal (ALL PayPal mobile transactions go through as gifts automatically BTW, DAMHIK...) 3) Ask the question about what to expect for shipping when you make an offer, or state shipping terms as part of the offer (ie: I'll give you $75 shipped for your primary cover as log as you can ship it and provide a tracking number by this Friday) 4) Communication is key, on BOTH sides of the fence. Buyers need to communicate their expectations to the sellers. 5) Watch your timeline. PayPal does not allow for a claim to be filed after 30 days. Day 29, file a claim. They stand behind buyers pretty well. Sucks to be in your shoes, I've been there too. I hope you get your frame. |

I was one of those that bought from him, and it took longer then expected, but I finally did get the part. He did say he was going to send me another freebie part that I never received though. My contact with him was not great either, I assume there is some personal stuff going on, no exuse though. |

PAYPAL people PAYPAL. Listen to Andy!!! I bought something on ebay a year or so ago (non motorcycle) and spent $400.00. The guy was a total scammer. Ebay and paypal knew it before I did. As soon as I sent the money through paypal ebay put a hold on the money until I said I had the part. The reason being is because it was over $150.00 and ebay claims on newer members this is standard. Well sure enough he wanted me to give him a good rating(scam attempt) before he could ship. I said no no no. He stalled for a week or so then ebay and paypal refunded my money. Problem solved before it became an issue. From now on I never buy anything on ebay unless paypal is an option. I suggest that everyone does the same. If you have any questions refer to Andymnelson's #1 rule in above post. |

I to bought from him and it took way to long to get my items and I even sent several emails to spur some action with the items. It was finally sent over a week and a half later. |

Just my random .02 PayPal can suck for sellers as well. Sold a laptop on Ebay a few years back. Was in perfect condition, buyer got it and said it was "not as described" and wanted their money back PAYPAL refunded the amount from my account into theirs. Even though I argued it was fully described. (auction had like 20 pics). Two weeks later checked their feedback, they bought the same laptop I had from another ebay auction for like 50 bucks cheaper. Just saying, it really comes down to people being a-holes |

If it doesn't show up in a couple days, get his local police involved. |

I had bay experiences with PayPal as a buyer. PayPal simply sided with the sellers even with evidence in front of them. On one instance, Ebay even banned the seller, but PayPal sided with the banned seller who kept the money and the merchandize. Go figure. Ever since then, I drop PayPal. That was a while ago, but I still refuse to open a PayPal account. |
