For sale is a Carbon Black "White Lightning".The tank has a small amount of tiny bubbling in the paint, but overall the paint is very shiny. This bike has always been owned by very conservative riders and never ridden hard. There is a log book since new.All recalls, updates and services have been done and are documented in the log book.Always serviced by a Buell tech.It has 19,367 miles and includes:a new battery at 19,300,new front brake carrier, bolts, pads and front Dunlop 208 at 17,195,rear 208 at 17,034. It has new Tuono mirrors,Corbin seat and aluminum pegs.Buell race ignition,Vance&Hinds muffler,Dynojet kit and Buell race air cleaner. There is a Carbon Fiber lower belt guard, upper heat shield and dash cover installed on the bike. Additional Carbon Fiber not on the bike:front hugger, tail section, fly screen and American Sport Bike rear hugger. The Carbon tail section has a split under the seat that you can't see and doesn't affect it's structural integrity. I have all the original parts including the stainless muffler,Helmholtz Resonator aka the airbox, front isolator mount (installed is an S2 mount without the boss to mount the stock airbox),seat and mirrors I also have the owners manual, parts book and factory service manual still in the plastic. I would like to sell everything as a package for $5800 Before everyone gets in a huff over the fact that it has a 2" header installed and not the 2.5" header,it came this way new,I've known the original owner for 12 years and he will attest to that fact.It is a White Lightning and the Vin is #4MZYS11J6W3226167. I have spoken with Brankin "1313" about this and he remembered S1W's going to Europe and Japan getting the 2" header, but is dumbfounded as to why this bike has one installed. Interesting. I have all the build sheets and will have to look and see if any deviations were noted. Was your friend the original owner? The bike looks VERY familiar. It may have a more interesting history than you realize. Excellent looking S1WL |

Mike, if I had the money and the wife wouldn't kill me... The wife is the bigger of the two issues. I love ya honey. I can't complain too much; she ok'd the purchase of my bike #2. Every time I have seen this motorcycle in the past few years, it has looked as if it just rolled off of the showroom floor after just being detailed. This bike looks awesome in person. Hope all's well. |

Good to hear from you Fran. You have to give props to the bikes previous stewards. It's been very well taken care of. I road it to Riders Hill today. You can't ask for a better mountain ride!Power, handling and then you reach your destination and people group around it and ooh and aah. |

That is a beautiful bike. Wish it was mine. My very first bike/racebike was a Black S1W with the nuclear blue frame and wheels. Makes me really miss it. |

Word I got was that the black lightning didn't exist in any official capacity, as I had one that was rumored to be. Gorgeous bike btw. |
