I have both the rider and passenger Buell accessory heel guards for XB models in amber. Both are new and unused but I did take the rider's out of the package because they were just too pretty not to ogle. But wait, there's more! (Sorry...) I sprayed a tail piece insert - cheese grater - amber to match the heel guards. It's not a perfect match but it's pretty close and it came out nice. It has an XB12S Lightning emblem on it. I've been trying for an hour to get this site to take a pic, so if you send me your email address, I can send a pic. How about $75 for all of them. Thanks. | ||

Redponcho, it is both rider and passenger heel guards and just the cheese grater (insert) not the whole tail piece. Danielsnelson, your brother tells me you got a new XB12R. Congrats! This may sound strange to ask . . . but before you get rid of the amber heel guards can you get a couple good photos for me. One of the better stories waiting to be told in the history of Buell involves, you guessed it, the amber heel guards. Court- I'm getting them for my little brothers XB12R. I'll snap a bunch of pics with my wife's D90 both on and off the bike when we get them. But of course now I want to know the story! | ||

Yes, the heel guards are sold - the amber cheese grater is still available. And yes, please tell us the story of the amber heel guards so we can pass it on to our children. | ||

Thanks again Mike. Here's a (blurry) photo of the grater insert- it looks Sharp! We'd rock it, but the heel guards are for an R model. So its still for sale!  | ||
