Came off my '96 S1, it grew bubbles all over the tank, so I stripped it but ended up getting another set of body work so it never got repainted. Has petcock but no cap.
Asking $150 plus shipping from 77833. rt |

May i ask how easy it was to strip? My S3 tank is due for paint thanks to the bubbles... and i'm considering stripping and spraybombing it for now! |

Tbolt: It took a few applications of chemical stripper to remove all the paint. I recommend removing the petcock and filler ring before stripping, and resist the temptation to scrape the stripped paint with anything made of steel, the plastic is easy to gouge. rt |

Thanks... gotta do something soon it's not too pretty! I'd be all over this if it were a large one. |
