send me a email with your address and I'll send you a photo of something that may fit the bill. NOT stock, not sure WTF it is, but pretty sure it S2 compatible. Al pkeaton at pacbell dotcomm |

Mike: This 'desertguy' doesn't seem to exist in the new badweb. I'll give him a couple of days to get back to me and if not it's over to you. Maybe send me an email so I can get you the pics. Al |

Desertguy, I have a Kerker muffler that would be great on an S2. It is in a for sale ad: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/21/ 621027.html?1300294444 Let me know if you might be interested or if you have any questions. |

Somehow, my acct. was deleted so I am back. Still looking for muffler for 1995 S2 Thunderbolt, it has 2" inlet. |

The one I have has a 2.5" inlet, so that's not gonna work for you. Over to Jp for the one I have. Badweb had a tech. problem time coincident with your post which turned you into smoke. Glad you're back. Someone got a muffler for him? Al |

Any S2 with a stock S2 header is going to have a rear-facing 2" collector. 2.5" would be a race header. John...I'm still very interested in that Kerker...but haven't had time to figure out how I'd hang the damn thing. Front is covered, the header has the hangar on it, but I'd have to figure out the rear. Shoot me your paypal, and figure shipping for both (you had 2, right? one good, one "previously loved"?) to 21702. If I can't figure out how to mount 'em, I'll just offer 'em back up here on badweb....but I remember you weren't asking too much for 'em. I'll send you a PM just to be safe... |

I am thinking of an automotive style muffler until I can find a stocker or correct aftermarket. |

I guess I will repair my old one, Vance/Hines ss2r, has cracked alum. mount at rear and I am going to re-baffle it using the stove rope technique. Any questions? |

I have a stock original S2 muffler in the box.It was on my S2 for 2k miles then replaced and put in a box and stored. It does need to be cleaned up but has no damage to it. |

I have a stock S2 muffler. It was on the bike for 2k then replaced. It does has surface rust but it is not damaged and will clean up easy enough. I'm thinking $75.00 OBO plus shipping. Make an offer |

It has surface rust only, the dent in it is factory for clearance for the drain bolt. |

Do you have the hangars? I'm running into that problem right now with a Kerker...like the sound, but can't ride the bike because I can't hang the back end of the muffler... |

Rat, The stocker uses straight straps from the grommet to the muffler, easy to fab. Mike |
