Man, what happened to that Uly? Did you enter it in the Darkar Race? Why did you needed Engine, Trans, Steering Head Bearings, Ect.....??? I've only heard of the wheel bearing going but not the rest of the bike. I'm looking for an Uly for the right price but that's a lot of work... | ||

its all new the first engine had about 18000 on it and the dealer found brass in the oil the facory sent me a new crate engine .that engine always used oil and got crap milage so the dealer ried new heads i road it for awhile and it didnt get any better so they built he topp end both cyls and machine fit the guides didnt get any better so just before the 2 year mark they got me a new engine ,the muffler valve was sticking so they got me a new muffler .i had some steering shake on decell so they pu new steering head bearings in while it was there .they where changing out my tires at the same time [they where due and it was in the shop and niticed play in the bearings so they changed them out .basically brand new bike .the new parts have a bou 4 or 5 housand miles give or take i just got back from a 1000 mile trip no oil usage no problems i just have to many bikes now and a baby on the way its a great bike very good dealer support if hey didnt have a part they dealer located them and overnighted it ...any other ? | ||

i believe the 08 had a steering radius change and the crank changed . | ||

there was a differance in a larger crank pin other than that nothing. that i know of.i asked when they put the new engine in if they were going to install the new one ,they told me performance wise i wanted to stick withthe o7 engine . | ||
