I have a stainless steel header is in excellent condition with 2 ½” collector and absolutely no cracks. These headers are becoming impossably to find so get it while you can. Fits carbureted Buell tubers. $100.00

Fits carbureted Buell tubersfrom 96-98. Fixed it for ya. 99-up tubers had a rear primary tube that went under the frame before it turned forward, and are "T" shaped overall - the primaries move pretty horizontally until they meet, then angle down and forward together towards the collector. 96-98 (NON-S2) tubers had this S-bend style, which was an over-the-frame design at the rear primary. And *technically*, this header is only OEM on a 98 S1W or 98 S3 - they were the only early frame Thunderstorm bikes. Pre-thunderstorm engines all had 2" collectors. It will *fit* Lightning motor bikes from 96-98, but won't be correct or match an OEM muffler. And it will not clear the stock air cleaner (angled) on a 95/96 S2 - which, by the way, had a 2" rear facing collector and not a 2.5" side facing collector. |

You can make it work on s2s.I have this header on my 95 s2 with newer supertrapp, y bracket and race air cleaner. Won't work with stock AC. He's right though this was stock on 98 s1w and s3... Just my $. 02 |
