I know, it's not motorcycle parts, but I've changed carriers and have an iPhone 3g 8gb for sale. It will come with a cover, protective cover, a belt clip, original box, car charger and cord, and the plug for charging in the home. It's in very good working order and has been well taken care of.

Well, it has been jailbroke so you'd have to check with the different carriers. I know some other will use the iphone but I don't know which ones. I'd like to get at least $150 obo. (not sure how much shipping would be to Spain) (Message edited by jumpinjewels on December 08, 2010) |

A jailbreak alone will not make it work on another carrier. You will need to install Ultrasn0w from Cydia. However, if it's on the latest software (4.1/4.2.1), there is no carrier unlock for the baseband in those softwares.you will have to pwnage tool or redsn0w to make a custom ipsw that has the iPad baseband in it and "restore" the iphone with the new pwned ipsw in order to carrier unlock it. Also, remember that it even when carrier unlocked it only works with GSM carriers, not CDMA carriers like Sprint or Verizon. (Message edited by Phelan on December 09, 2010) |

way to much hassle for me doing that, I have an Ipod touch (new for 50$), and it works for me, and have a sony ericsson satio phone, so I'll pass as I don't want o risk not being able to use it, best of luck on the sale |

It's not as hard as it sounds; as long as the phone you're using now uses a sim card and isn't on Sprint it can work, and the process is pretty fool-proof (as in If you mess up, you can put the phone in dfu mode and try again). You just have to have the download the right software to do this, and have a wifi connection. And mind you, If the phone is on any software <4.1, forget the earlier mentioned stuff; it's as simple as clicking the Cydia app and search for/install ultrasn0w, turn off 3G and reboot. BTW ditch the original box, put all that stuff in a small flat-rate priority mail box, send it registered priority mail and it'll cost $23 to ship it anywhere worldwide that USPS will deliver to. I repair, buy and sell these phones all the time so I know what I'm talking about . |

Hey guys, Hope you're all having a great Christmas. My son traded his used iPhone for a brand new one, 3g 8gb. It's for sale. Would like $200 + shipping. I might have the car charger and cord as well. (Message edited by jumpinjewels on December 25, 2010) (Message edited by jumpinjewels on December 25, 2010) |
