Chris, FYI.. An XB9 drummer is different than an XB12 drummer. Either will work, but each is optimized specifically for one displacement or the other. An XB9 drummer would work on a Uly, but wouldn't work as good as an XB12 drummer would. I know the tip sizes are different, not sure of the internal volume, Kevin would have to answer that. Al | ||

What do the dyno sheets say ? The Drummer pictured above was made out of a 12 can and was probably made for a 12. Only the owner and KD fab know without an in person inspection. | ||

I've never seen such debate over a pipe! Its off my Uly and there is no more valve for the pipe so it will work on either a 9 or 12 | ||

Drummers sound awesome!! This isn't a bad deal! 400 bucks shipped is an alright price. I bought an old version for 220, had to cut the end cap off, re-stuff it, weld the cap back on, grind it down, sand the whole pipe, prime the whole pipe and finally paint the whole thing. Probably 35 bucks in stuffing and paint so 255 out of pocket. ( not including 2.5 hour trip to pick pipe up and 1.5 hour trip to buddies shop with welder and not including his lunch for helping me, haha ) BUT... everytime it needs re-stuffed I'm going to have to do that whole process again. The newer version like the one for sale here has a different end cap which comes off very easy! Making a re-stuffing job quick and easy!! | ||

This isn't a bad deal! 400 bucks shipped is an alright price. Considering that KD Fab sells them for $400 plus $25 shipping AND your old core pipe, that YOU have to ship to KD for another $25-$35 bucks. Core pipes are in the $100-$125 range. So your cost for a new one is in the $550 range-plus down time while your pipe is out being reworked. With this pipe, $400 to your door, change it whenever you feel like it, and you still have your stocker to switch back to, though I doubt you ever would, except for if you decided to sell your XB and you wanted to keep the Drummer for the next Buell. | ||
