Damn, the fight is over? I was just getting my popcorn and pulling up a chair... But seriously, the intent is what counts and it seems like neither party had a bad intent. No bad blood is allowed in this forum... |

WoW! Holy Moley, just noticed the exchanges here. If isolated incident, wouldn't be writing this in public. Not a coincidence when happens to another person with same common denominator. Same things happened here with a couple of supposedly very nice polished wheels and a gas tank, shipped from same guy. I couldn't wait to get them. I did send him some private feedback by email, got nothing in response. By the way, got hit up for additional $160.00 in supposedly unplanned shipping costs, I met him half way and sent him another $80.00 because I thought it was the fair thing to do. Then I received the shipments a few days later with nothing but a shipping label on them. Tank was boxed and wrapped well. Wheels are now junk, weren't even wrapped in plastic, nothing used to protect them. You could probably count each time they were handled and thrown into truck with the severe wounds permanently made to the rims. Best could hope for is to powder coat them, filling and blending all of the new free of charge canyons carved into them. Not meant to be vindictive. If I were the shipper, using a shipping annex, I'd want to know how they showed up on the other end, especially if I cared. Secondly, buyer beware if dealing with this guy, not an isolated incident, way too similar in process, and kind of feel we have an obligation to each other as members of this great gun club. welcome to the club/site. sorry your first experience with buying on badweb was lousy. ive had 99.9% success with dealing with everyone here. almost everyone has been cool and dealt with any problems properly... until i met this guy. he talked alot of crap then backs it up with crappy actions. i dont know why someone would pack like that using the "shipping annex", especially when he knew they werent packing properly. he apparently just doesnt give a sh1t... even if you paid for insurance, packing the rims improperly would get you nothing from a claim... everyone can read these details and make their own decision on dealing with this guy... like i said before: BUYER BEWARE! i have a feeling now that his bike has been parted, he wont be around, im sure he made some quick cash parting that buell. another one bites the dust. (at least it wasnt a s2 this time!)... |
