Author Message   Baal Posted on Sunday, October 10, 2010 - 04:34 pm:        This is a new, unopened filter, in the bag and box it came in. I thought it was a regular K&N, but it is in a box with a Buell part number: 29388-02Y. The label says: KIT, AIR CLEANER, XB FITS 03 AND LATER XB MODELS I looked the part number up and it comes up as the race filter, commonly as a part of the race kit. The wrapper is printed: "K&N, Factory pre-oiled, ready to install." The gasket is printed K&N. So, my guess is that K&N made the race filter. That may be old news to the rest of you, but I wanted to be clear as to what I have here. Looks just like the one I just installed in the bike that came in the K&N box. Asking $49, shipped.
