Looking for tube frame Buell in good ride-able shape. In New England. Preferably X1 or S1W. Also consider S1, '99+ M2 and xb9. Bike is going to live in the city and serve some commuter duty as well as occasional forays to the twisties and near ton highway blasts. It won't be ridden that much but will likely be ridden hard by slow, heavy rider. Cosmetics not important. Not looking for a project, sadly no time or space- just a decent rider. Would like to get some fall miles on. Up to around $2500. It's not a lot, I realize. But I know the deals are out there. So, please perhaps be an enabler, take pity on me and avoid having to store that ride another season. Also looking for a Blast for some new rider training. Really should be "as cheap as chips" as my friend Nick would say. Cosmetics also unimportant. It's also likely going to be treated rough. Thanks all. |

I have a 2001 Blast in Central CT. Does not have a lot of miles, I'd have to check to ODO I got it with less than 1k and rode if for about a year and half. It is purple with a V&H exhaust (fairly loud)I've got the stock exhaust also, high and low seat. I have cut down dirt bike bars on it, I have the stock bars also. The battery is dead, I start it with my XB battery. Asking $1,600. |

Thanks all for the replies. Picked up an XB12SS. Yee haw! Now just gathering parts to make it complete. Still hunting for cheap Blast though. Actually hunting for 2 now. Sub $1k. One is for a new rider; and one is for teaching new riders and abusing through all the NE seasons. |
