Selling a 08 XB12X with 18,500 miles. Add ons, updated or modified parts: XB9 Primary Drive (old 12 primary included) Drive belt w/about 2K on it Exhaust actuator ECM Ignition switch Rear rocker cover casket Low seat Fiberglass RSS included (not new) Black wheel bearings Scratches shown in the pics are from going down on the left side on a gravel road. Replaced both hand guards. Right side guard had scratches on it. $5500.00 w/20,000 maintenance. $5200.00 w/o. Reason for selling is I have 2 Ulys and a 05 Electra Glide. There is nothing wrong with the bike. I set the low price because I bought another at a very good price. Just trying to get enough to pay for the other one. It also has the Kaoko cruise control. I will try to post better pics with more detail | ||

I assume the X9 gave you better low end but what are the rpm @70mph? | ||

I'm not sure, maybe 3500. At 75 mph it is 4000 rpm. The other one I have has had the xb9 conversion also. I love it. | ||

I'm surprised there is no interest in the bike. Maybe I made too much out of the scratches. I felt that was only honest. Here is the good. All the bugs have been worked out of the bike. I'm anal about scheduled maintenance being done. All maintenance and major work was done by BlueRidge HD. These guys know Buells. I've always used synthetic for the engine and dino in the primary. I'm the 2nd owner, the 1st owner used synthetic as well. It does not use only oil. It has always been kept out of the elements in my MC shed. I don't need two ULYs. I got a good deal on the second one and I'm trying to pass along a good deal. PM me and I will be glad to answer all questions. Thanks.      | ||

Those are Avon Distanzias. I put them on after I lost the front end in the dirt. No problems with that after putting them on. To me, they are great on the road but I'm not dragging knees. | ||

im assuming thats a 160/60/17 on the back? i liked the tread pattern so thought id check them out. couldnt come up with anything bigger then a 160 in my books. | ||

It's July man, end o the buying season. There was a nice Ulysses on here all spring similar to yours for 45 that finally sold. Seems like it had a buell engineer first owner history. I wish I could offer you four but I don't have it and the pitchforks would surely come out at my blasphemy: -) | ||

Rick: if it helps your decision, I bought mine without bags. I was a bit patient and snatched up some deals, but I got all 3 cases and racks with new lock cylinders (keyed alike) for under $500: rear case and rack, used: $75 side cases, used: $200 side racks, new (Liberty Buell): $200 lock cylinders, new (Bumpus): $24 |
