Here goes nothing.... This picture is from the Winter but the bike is basically in the same condition, just not covered in ice I thought I'd never sell my baby but the 1125r needs service and I'm broke. Location: Rocky Mount Virginia 24151 Condition: 57,291 miles; Engine and Transmission blueprinted by Wes Brown at 26K miles; runs well, needs some service; minor trans fluid leak, broken bolt in front head frame mount, and (just developed this week) some sort of starter dysfunction (sticking solenoid?); Corsa III tires have tread but won't pass state inspection, original plastics are in good condition except chinfoil which has a lot of road wear on the front edge; recent belt and front pully; recent rear wheel and bearings; recent sidestand switch; recent battery; frame paint is weathered but intact; otherwise mechanically sound and maintained to be a daily rider. Modifications: (Like New)Banke shifter and brake linkage; (Recent) Works Performance rear shock; (Recent) Braking Wave front rotor; billet frame brace over front pulley; billet "Flying Bullet" timing cover; Pegasus mesh inserts; gutted airbox with K&N filter; properly plumbed vented catch can; Buell Race ECM; Buell Pro Race Header; gutted and welded Buell Pro Race Muffler; Buell Upgrade saddle; passenger pegs removed; Tail-tidy and LED License frame; brake light modulator. Extras: Carbon Fiber tank cover in good condition, spare Millenium tank cover and front shield (slight damage, tab missing on tank cover), passenger pegs and HW, stock saddle (good condition), modified stock saddle (strap removed, rear section dyed silver); new throttle cable, 2 new head temperature sensors, extra exhaust brackets and maybe a few other odds and ends. Last time I had the bike on a Dyno it put out about 100RWHP and 97 Pounds of Torque. It's a stout machine. Even with the broken bolt on the front head. Not sure how long that's been broken, I've probably put on ten thousand miles with it like that. I'm looking for my baby to go to a good home. Because it needs some work I'm looking for around $1500. I'll entertain offers. Hoping for a fast sale...hence the low price. Note that the take off parts are worth more than the asking price...the Works shock ($800), Wave rotor ($300), Race header and ECM ($800-1000) would cost more than that. I do not have the headers anymore. They cracked. I mis-stated the mileage. It's 57,291. I have the passenger pegs and brackets and the other items I mentioned above, nothing else. It's #650 of 800. I'm getting ready to list the bike on eBay starting at $1500. I'll be glad to end the auction for a favorable price/expedient transaction here. Thanks for the interest. PS uploading some pics I took a few moments ago. (Message edited by MountainStorm on July 15, 2010) |

Someone got a ridiculously great deal. Good for you...The engine alone is worth the price of admission. |

mine mine mine mine mine And with the racing stripe bike my mind is already swaping out the jet coated headers that was on my first millenium that's on the race stripe bike and restoring the millenium as close as I can back to its original off the floor condition. The racing stripe is going to be modified even more. I'm so happy I could just SCREAM! |

I am very glad it went to an enthusiast. It would have been a shame to see this bike get parted. |

I'm totally surprised that 5 hours went by and nobody noticed it. I was the first bite. I just reserved the U-haul for it. I'll be seeing Mountainstorm very soon. K |

A new lease on life and a good home with one of the most fluent persons there is when it comes to the X1 Millenium. I'm really glad to see this and am eager to see what Kath does with the Buell. |

"I'm totally surprised that 5 hours went by and nobody noticed it." To be honest by coincidence I happened to see it a few minutes after it was posted. I was very tempted but just didn't know what to do with it if I bought it regardless of the price. Just not the type to want to make money by selling off its parts...Sometimes you gotta believe in Karma. |
