This was done more as an experiment than out of desperation and before Buell had issued the Service Bulletin B-076 "2003-2006 FIREBOLT HEADLIGHTS Product Program 0501" which corrected the problem by redesigning the unit. Cost me $40; I'll offer it for sale at $25.
