Crashed the bike this week, I'm pretty sure she is totaled. I won't find out until this Monday, so I'm just putting up my aftermarket parts for tentative sale. All parts are off of an 08 XB12Ss. I don't have the bike at the house, it's at the shop, so I can't take photos, as of now. But will get some up, when I get the bike back. All prices include shipping, and are OBO. Original Drummer- Aprox just shy of 6,000 miles on it. Rated at a 4 out of 5. Some strap scratches... I would need your stock XB12 pipe in return, which is not trashed. $325 Drummer Catch Can w/ K&N breather filter. 5 out of 5. $145.00 CRG Black Shorty Brake Lever- Rashed on the tip, not too bad, lever is not bent. 3 out of 5. $50.00 CRG Black Clutch Lever- 5 out of 5. $80.00 EBC Sintered Front Pads- New in package. $45.00 EBC Sintered Rear Pads- New in package. $30.00 XBLights.com tail light, Option 6- 5 out of 5. $210.00 Erik Buell Racing Drummer Race ECM- 5 out of 5. This map/ECM was actually modified for a bit more power. The bike was thrown on the dyno at Erik Buell Racing and tweaked to add more fuel. Can't get than that. $240.00 Erik Buell Racing Black Quick Action Fuel Cap- 5 out of 5. $120.00. SOLD Spec Ops Chopped tail- 4 out of 5. This tail is powder coated satin black. It has aprox a 1 inch mark/scratch right above the tail light. It's not really huge, I was just going to get it re-powder coated over the winter. I would need your stock XB 12Ss tail in return. $100.00 Service Manual 08 XB12Ss- 4 out of 5. Has some dirt and oil on it, but in good shape. $45.00 K&N Air Filter- 5 out of 5. $40.00 American Sportbike Open Airbox- 5 out of 5. Installed once for about 50 miles. Kit includes everything except the breather reroute tubing and T fitting. $45.00 Any questions ask. As soon as I find out on Monday if the bike it totaled, I'll post back here. But place you bids now. (Message edited by boney95 on June 19, 2010) (Message edited by boney95 on June 20, 2010) |

Thanks man, I'm fine, just some bruises. I'd love to sell you the Drummer, but I would need the stock pipe to throw back on there when the INS company takes it. |

Hey Boney, Don't know if it is this way with bikes, but a few years ago my truck was hit and totaled. Ins. company paid me and then they had a value on my truck which was very low. I bought my truck from them and sold parts from it. Made more $$$ this way. Another way I have heard it done is, say they value your bike at $5000. You might be able to say you will take $4500 from them and you keep the bike. Not trying to mind your business, just a thought in case you didn't know. Glad you're OK! |

Jwey, yeah if that's the case I'll try and buy the bike from the INS. I guess it all depends on how much they want for it. I'd then just keep it as a track bike and then buy another. I'm just trying to get a jump start on all of this, if worse case... |

Sorry to hear about your get off, we have quite a few going down in our area here lately (sand in the road). Can I get pics on CRGs when you get the opportunity and dibs if you decide to part them out. |

I'm glad your okay!!!! Does the drummer have the exhaust valve in it? Can it be tied open for a 9 motor? Let us know what insurance says. Thanks! PS: why not keep everything for your next XB? |

Rah, the drummer does not keep the interactive valve, Odie and Hawk are the only ones that do offer the valve I believe. Jimmy |

This sucks to say, but if she's totaled I think I'm going to go with another brand. I found a brand new leftover 08 SuperDuke 990, for $9,770 OTD. That's hard to pass up! Sweet ass bike too! Don't get me wrong, I love Buell, even have a tat to prove it. This is a hard decision... |

Drummer Catch Can is spoken for. Rich, the invoice wouldn't matter, I never had any accessory package/rider on my INS. So I guess I'm SOL. No the crossroads didn't make it. Bent down the right bar, along with the right side of the center plate. The plate is actually right up against the fork adjustment nut. Pissed me off!!! |

O, and the dealership won't be able to give me an estimate until tomorrow afternoon, or Wed. Does it really take that long..? |

I'm very tempted to take the Drummer ECM and the brake pads off of you. |

Black and Chrome, you and another guy has dibs on the ECM. First person to pay its theirs. This ECM is not like the other "Drummer ECM's" it was put on the dyno at Erik Buell Racing and tweaked/customed,by the guy (Dan) that's has been doing all of Buell's maps since 2003. Can't get any better than that! Deal on the EBC's too. |

I don't see them listed, but would be a buyer for the clutch, idle and throttle cables. |

Insurance totaled my roommates 03 XB9R last summer. The adjuster came down right away after the accident but it took close to a month before he got any info about the $ figures. The bottleneck is looking up the buell parts. I didn't see the other guy, musta been a PM. That dyno fact is what's really tempting, except its tweaked for your bike in Wisconsin. Even though I have an 08 with a drummer and a K&N+open airbox waiting to be installed, no two bikes are exactly the same. Thats gotta be pretty damn close though! I don't have the patience to mess around with the maps myself. Sending a PM now. BTW... I think someone was using your bike in one of the craigslist scams. I was about to take out $3000 until they mentioned shipping the bike. I knew it was too good to be true! |
