I've come to a decision: I will sell my XB12 "Ghost Ride", it's time for me to buy a car now and I can't afford too many toys. my tubers will stay where they are, so my XB has to go. I'm sure it's not a bike for everyone, it's not an everyday ride, but it's definitely unique. lots and lots of modifications, lots and lots of money invested. winner of 3 first places, included "over 600cc. Streetfighter" class in Daytona 2009. it is perfect, just put new battery and installed a ZTL2 front caliper (chromed, you still can't see it on the pics cause the bike is still at the shop). functional Nitrous system, 240 rear tire, hypercharger kit, every single bolt was chromed, ISR master cylinder and matching clutch lever. too many mods to list here.the only stock thing left on this bike is the engine. over $30.000 invested. let me know if interested. Froggy, thanks. I honestly don't believe I will find someone that can appreciate this bike and offer the right money. the economy is what it is, this bike is way too personal to be loved as much as I love it. maybe I unconsciously put this one on sale cause I know it will never be sold...  but hey, you never know. I'm willing to sell it at a fraction of what's on the bike, but even like that, I'm not so positive. we'll see, it's a screening. I will try on eBay as well, as soon as I get the bike back from the shop with the ZTL2 caliper and fresh new battery. | ||

i've always respected this bike, hate to hear your selling. Just a thought, and i know it probably hurts to think about it, but parting it might be the best way to recoup most of the money in it. I'm sure there is a lot of demand for most of those parts, i myself see several parts i'd be interested in  anyway good luck on selling one of the best ever looking XBs | ||

yeah James, that's exactly what I was thinking right now. I would definitely make more money parting it out, but it would hurt the hell out of me!!! :-( I don't think I'd have the strength to part this bike out, it cost me too much effort to get it as it is right now and reverse the process would be a knife in my back! no, if it won't sell, I will keep it as it is and make extra sacrifices to buy the car... guys, I'll put it down straight: I need money ASAP! make me an offer for this bike, it might be the right one. or I'll part it out next week and every single bolt will be on sale... I don't wanna do this but I have no other choice. please save this unique bike... |
