My laziness is your steal. I've owned this bike for over 5 years. Last year I thought it would be a great idea to take everything apart and polish any piece of aluminum I could find... Fast forward one year and it is still sitting in pieces in my garage. But the aluminum looks nice. I spent over a week on the swing arm alone but it looks like chrome on the outside. I didn't polish the inside of the swing arm because it didn't seem to make much sense. The bike was running strong when I took it apart. Never been dropped or wrecked. It does have some wear and tear from about a dozen trips to Virginia from Florida and multiple trips down to Daytona for Bike week. You can see in one of the pictures it looks like I took a large rock to the front right plastic. The bottom fairing also has some wear from the clutch cable rubbing on it, I've posted a pic of that as well. The wheels have been powder coated orange to match the "Buell" on the tank cover but they need a good cleaning.. The tires are in GREAT shape. The head light is cracked but worked when I removed it. I've replaced the stock mirrors with chrome ones. It is also missing the exhaust. I gave it to someone to re-weld the mounting bracket and he somehow misplaced it. Although he did reimburse me, it still sucked. I'm not a mechanic by any means but I am sure you will need to purchase some sort of gasket kit when you put the engine back together. I am also including my helmet, it is an Black and Orange Buell XXL. I am listing this bike in Multiple places and locally. So why am I selling my bike... I just had my first child in April. So I have ZERO time to mess with it. And I have decided that I want a jeep. Something me and my little girl can both enjoy. But first the bike has got to go. As expected there is no warranty on the bike and is being sold as is. If you have any questions or would like to see more pictures let me know. If your local feel free to contact me and you can come inspect the bike. This is really a great opportunity for someone with more time than myself.

Just responded to both. I've gotten quite a few emails via Ebay about the number and motor. The motor was STRONG when I took it apart. The bike is #041 of 800 |

I might be mistaken, but I think I actually saw your bike parked on base in Norfolk, VA in 2003 or so.... |

It may have been it. In 2003 I was on a Frigate based out of there. Don't remember the piers we were moored at. I lived in Va Beach and loved roaring down the HOV on my way to work. |

Now that I think about it... I'm pretty sure I am the only guy in VA that had a Millenium with Orange wheels. I thought I was the only one with a Millenium until you said you had one. I've never seen another one out on the road. One of the reasons I would hate to part it out. |

It was definitely you then. I left a note on your bike, maybe it flew off or something. I was #40, I was at pier 3 (sub pier), you were over by the LHD's and close to the carriers.. probably never saw my bike because I was only there about 6 months before it was hit by a car, re-clothed in carbon fiber... I have a bad feeling its going to end up as a chopper donor... |

Yea, can't say I ever remember seeing a note on my bike. If I did I probably thought it was someone from the ship screwing with me. But that's exactly where I was moored. I was stuck at that end the entire time I was in Norfolk. I was on an Amphib first (LHD-5) and then a Frigate (FFG-52). I really hope someone nabs it from this site first. |

Looks like your auction is going good, I would think anything over a thousand bucks is in the money on that. |

LHD-5 is that the Bataan? I did a few pumps on the Wasp myself. You see quiet a few Buells in the Norfolk/Virginia Beach area now. Jimmy |

I've added some more pictures to the ebay site. A lot of people have been asking about the motor. ALL I DID WAS REMOVE THE TOP ALUMINUM COVERS. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ewItem&item=320537068423&viewitem=&_trkparms=algo% 3DLVI%26its%3DI%26otn%3D1&category=49985 |

Do you know what the winner is going to do with it? Will some of the parts be available or are they rebuilding it? |
