i responded to the ad: Hydraulic lifters require NO VALVE ADJUSTMENTS. Who are you trying to kid? Such statements cast doubt the overall description and credibility. |

Well, I'd give the guy the benefit of the doubt thinking that his friendly mechanic might have convinced him he needed a valve adjustment... |

his reply: So? What's your point? Don't buy the bike if you're worried about my credibility. Think it actually has turn signals? Maybe I imagined the cracked fairing. I could be lying about that too. Time weighing heavily on your hands? Had work done several seaons ago - complete service. Thought he did this. Guy pointed it out a last week and I didn't change the ad. Bike is as advertised except that point. Come see it or don't. my reply: The reason is that potential buyers on buell forums discuss buyable bikes. Being disingenuous reduces the possibility of said forum helping expedite the sale of the bike. Why have something that you know is misleading in your ad? THAT is my point. IT IS NOT A SLAM AT YOU OR THE BIKE………………… |
