The SB9SX calls for the BU009 L-brackets and the XBR calls for the BU008 brackets. Ventura's ap chart will make it clear. I have the stuff for my 06 XB9SX. It actually fits any "short" XBS, ie XB12S, etc. Anything, but the lightning long or that XBTT or whatever they called it.
