Well in the following days I'll try to pull out individual parts, take pictures, and list things individually, but for now here are some general pictures. If you spot something you want, let me know. EDIT: If you want to pay with paypal, plan on adding 3% to your payment to cover the paypal fee. paypal: pkforbes87@hotmail.com If you want to pay via check: Phillip Forbes 4117 Monica Drive Oklahoma City, OK 73115 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Brembo 320mm front rotor for tuber, X1 inner airbox, storz steering damper, x1 seat, x1 muffler, x1 rear fender 2000 X1 primary, rotor, stator, etc. All with 25,000+/- miles. Chin fairing mount bracket - I don't have a chin fairing for sale! primary cover, tranny, etc. The shaft assembly that comes through the primary cover and attaches to the shift lever is not there, and I may not have a shift drum or detent plate. Will have to look around to be sure. Pegasus axle covers seen here are not for sale. bare cast wheels - I bought these for an S3 project that isn't going to happen. No idea what the little metal rings are for but they were attached to the wheels when I got them. Rear wheel comes with a rotor but the front is bare. Also a pair of XB rocker covers - they have some surface corrosion that blows my mind. I forgot and left them overnight in a parts washer and the next morning they looked like that. It isn't getting worse since they've been sitting out dry, but they do need cleaned up a bit before use. swingarm, two subframes, a front axle, forks, etc X1 engine w/ 25,000+/- miles. The top end is on a shelf. It was running fine other than burning a little oil when I took it apart. I have all the parts except for lifters. 97 S3 seat, S3T lowers, I don't know what year they're for or if there's a difference between 98- and 99+ bikes due to the different header shape. There's some faded but intact S3 fairing bags in that box along with other random stuff. An S3 Zero Gravity touring windscreen too. X1 saddlebags. ye old lucky bag (I doubt anyone will get the reference) S3 tail, PM wheels. The uly comfort kit pieces aren't for sale. Neither is the sweet 1975 Cessna 150 pilot seat. Don't be jealous. X1 header painted with high temp white paint. Yes it's hideous and was a failed experiment but it's in grand physical condition. Also an S3 wiring harness with Race ECM. I also have a X1 harness with race ecm. I don't believe either harness has been modified, except I seem to remember the previous owner of the X1 bypassing the sidestand switch via internal wiring in the harness. I'll take the front rotor. I'm interested in the lucky bag and the windshield as well. Let me know what you're looking to get for them. Sorry to hear that the S3 project isn't going to happen. (Message edited by Easy_Rider on March 15, 2010) |

You know it's a little smaller diameter than stock, right? I bought it thinking that I'd run it with the stock caliper and mount but after looking at things close up I didn't feel comfortable letting the brake pads ride off the edge of the rotor like that. If you want it I'll gladly sell it to you, but I want to make sure you know what you're getting. If you've got a setup for a 320mm rotor, or the skills to reposition your caliper then this would be perfect. |

Almost forgot, I have an X1 fuel tank without a cover. And an FI manta tank. Came off a 99+ S3. The S3 tank was painted just before I bought it and is a beautiful glossy black with white decals. |

Jimmy, one of the subframes has the clear factory finish sanded off in areas like someone started to polish it but never finished. The other I would say its a 9/10 factory finish. I'll take $90 shipped for the good one, $70 shipped for the one that has been altered. Tail lights, diamond plate, etc will all be removed before I ship unless you want to purchase those. Sorry if my prices offend anyone, It's not intended I assure you. I've got a lot more experience as a buyer than I do a seller which means I'm also unfamiliar with shipping rates for different size/weight items. |

Jimmy - payment received. I'll ship tomorrow. Bosephus - $80 shipped for a race ecm. The X1 ECM has factory maps and has never been altered. I don't know about the S3 ECM because I've never had it powered on. It came attached to the S3 wiring harness which I've never used. AFAIK they are the same part, I'm just referring to them as X1/S3 since I know which bikes they each came from. Dinuns1 - I remember seeing your PM just before I left for work, but don't remember what you wanted and can't seem to pull up the PM here at work. Whatever you wanted you'll be first in line. That goes for everything here.. I'll make deals with people in the order they post up or PM. First come first served. MMcustoms - same thing, I can't read your PM right now but you've got first shot at whatever you wanted. Oldfartnbuell - I don't have the rear hugger from the X1. I do have a rear hugger from a 97 S3 but it's designed to attach to the older steel swingarm. I assume it won't work with the aluminum X1 swingarm but I can check when I get home. $40 shipped for the fender and chin fairing bracket. Note that the fender doesn't include the trunk tray - I sold that part years ago. Onebadx1 - $600 shipped for the X1 bags and steering damper. Sorry if this seems steep, but both were pretty damn hard to get my hands on. That's $300 for the bags which is what they cost me. They're unused other than one thousand mile weekend trip - never seen rain, mud, etc. Another $300 for the damper which I've never used (it doesn't fit with the left scoop on the bike)The dampers are $420 new and this one is in great shape. Bikertrash05 - all the controls worked flawlessly when the bike was disassembled. I've never taken controls apart and have no idea what the part you pictured is. Spiderman - block as in only the cases? I've torn it down about as far as I can with the tools I have. I'll sell the tranny for $300 shipped - $350 shipped if I can find the shift drum & detent plate and you want those. When I find out how much of the bottom end/cases you want, I'll have to give you a price quote only and wait on shipping. I just have no idea how much it would take to ship something that heavy. Brinnutz - sorry, I don't have the tools to split the cases and get the crank out. Jreinke - $200 shipped for lowers. I'll get better pics tomorrow. |

Dinuns1 - I can read your PM now. $150 shipped for the swingarm. I'll drop $10 if you don't want the mounting block. Not sure what you mean by motor mounts. Isolators? Tie bars?.. I have a complete set of tie bars although I'm sure I don't have them labeled which one came from which position. I have isolators laying around too but you don't want them. They're the old design used in 2000 and have 25k miles on them. As for the tranny - $300 shipped or $350 if I find the shift drum/detent plate and you want it. I'll have to look through my boxes for those parts this afternoon (need sleep first though!) I won't remove the grips or switchgear from the X1 bars - I tried it once before, got lost, and looked like I was going to break something. If you want the whole shebang including X1 bars, traction grips, clutch lever, and all the wiring that goes from the switchgear into the wiring harness - I'll do $125 shipped. BTW, there's a splice in the chunk of wiring from the left switchgear that I put in there when installing a headlight modulator. I won't take the rotors off any wheels - sorry. Tried it once, rounded the allen heads and had a bad day 1998s1lightning - $300 shipped for the tranny, $350 if I have the shift drum/detent plate and you want them. You're next in line after Dinuns1. Spiderman - I didn't realize this when I posted last night from work, but you're third in line for the tranny behind Dinuns1 and 1998s1lightning. Hooligan - I got your PM and you're second in line for the X1 bars. Again, $125 shipped and I won't take any switchgear or grips off. Scooternerd - PM replied to. $300 for the damper and you did PM before onebadx1 posted so let me know ASAP. thanks Fasted - PM replied to. I have the whole X1 front end minus plastics. After thinking about it you probably don't want the headlight either. I had a lot of issues with bad connections at the rubber grommet where the wires enter the light housing. If you're just after forks and the like though, I've got everything you need. Not sure how the front end swap would go, but I don't have good steering head bearings to offer. Forks have 25k and have never been serviced, but worked fine for me and have never leaked. Andymnelson - $425 shipped for the tail, swingarm, and header - but Dinuns1 has first shot at the swingarm. Tail and header are yours for $300 shipped if Dinuns1 takes the swingarm. Fcpdbuell - $75 shipped for the windscreen. It's never been mounted, still in the zero gravity plastic bag. It's the touring one with the little "spoiler" curve in the top of it. (Message edited by pkforbes87 on March 16, 2010) |

Easy_rider - just noticed your edit. Fcpdbuell got first shot at the windscreen. By "lucky bag" you mean the S3 fairing bags? I called that box "ye old lucky bag" before because an old navy tradition is to have a box/bag full of old uniform items from people who got promoted or left the navy. The box is a lot of parts that were removed or replaced from a couple different bikes.. I think i failed at humor |

X1 and Manta tank - both for FI bikes. Manta tank bottom X1 tank bottom 2" outlet 98- header not sure what this is supposed to look like but I assume this one's broken S3T bars and napoleon mirrors more pics of the S3T lowers mounting hardware included on both sides 2" in/out cherry bomb - never used. I believe this was 18" body length 22" overall. check the PN# to be sure S3 fairing bags ZG windscreen I think I was wrong about this being the touring model. see anything you can't live without? I'll sell everything except the frame itself. X1 tank bag. pretty used, but still intact and all zippers work I'll pull the strap mounts off my X1 and they'll be included with the tank bag black cylinders and heads here is what came off the 2000 X1. 25k miles on it all and the top end was working fine other than burning a little oil. The silver cylinder seen here is good but I only have one good one. It came off a 2002 X1 with 6677 miles on it. The other cylinder had an exhaust valve bouncing around in it for a while here's the good head that came off the good cylinder from the 2002 X1. I don't remember which bike the starter came off of. 2000/2002 owners chime in - what color is yours? If this is from the 2000, it's got 25k miles of use on it, if it's from the 2002, then 6600. pistons from the 25k motor if there's interest for any reason.. and a rear axle.

How much for the napoleon bar end mirrors? What are the rubber bands around the ends for? What condition are they in and do you still have all the mounting hardware? |

Surfhonu - Rubber bands are holding the bolts in just to keep from losing them. I've never had them mounted, but it looks like to me they need to be screwed into a part installed in the handlebars. I bought the S3T bars from the same guy as the mirriors, and the bars have threaded inserts welded into the inside tip of each side that match the bolts on the mirrors. $40 shipped for the mirrors. $100 shipped if you want the S3T bars as well. (they sort of need to go together) |

Andy, wanna give me an offer? I'm trying to be fair and still make a little bit of money at least. With the tail I shipped this morning, almost 60% of the cost went to shipping the damn thing. That was the first item I've sold so far and it's a learning experience for me to estimate shipping costs, but if I can't make more money than that I'd rather watch the stuff sit in my garage btw, the tail shipping was expensive due to it's size, not weight. The header would be just as expensive if not worse. |

Well....I just purchased a swingarm including the engine mount half for $50 shipped on eBay So...I don't need that anymore. I've seen tail sections go for about the same, and a brand new (!!) header for $150 a couple of weeks ago... If you'd like me to remove the above info, I gladly will. ...I just figured that since you brought the private conversation here that you wouldn't mind... FWIW: I have typically found FedEx cheaper than UPS. Also, you can sign up for an account on their website and get like 20 or 25% off of normal rates. |
