I'm not sure what the stain is from, I didn't scrub very hard or use any chemicals.  | ||

I take it you tried to get the stains off but they wouldn't budge? Looks like wheel bearing grease splatter. | ||

No I wiped the wheels down with a wet rag before taking the photos. You got me curious so I went and scrubed with some orange based cleaner, I had to scrub really hard but the stains come off. Best guess brake dust not washed off after my track day. Good marketing lesson, know your product and clean it up for best results! (Message edited by hooligan620 on February 27, 2010) | ||

i dont care about the stains i just need some rims to finish my front end. going to try and mate a rear buell rim on the back of my softtail also. all ready have most of the pieces so if the deal falls thru let me know or if any one else has a front wheel the can part with let me know G | ||

Mothers aluminum polish will pull those stains right off. I pulled fire char stains off of mine with the stuff. | ||
