You can get it. Pull the ring off the tank, with the cap attached. (or...wrestle and pull and curse until you get the cap off - it'll come eventually, I promise) From the inside, file down the outside edges (ends, and outside diameter) of the 2 plastic tabs on the cap, that rotate when you turn the lock thingy on the outside. They swell with age and get "too long" to release. I've done it on both my S1W and my S2, and now that I think about it I should do her M2L as a preemptive strike.... If you get stuck (no pun intended), take off the ring and cap, send me a PM and mail 'em to me. I'll take care of it for ya  |
