That sucks Joe, apparently it did not go over well when the wife found out? Buy her the MSF course and get her riding, maybe she'll come around! |

Would consider a Tuber in trade. It would have to be in the Socal Area so I could touch and feel it. |

This is some funny stuff... Pulled off the ebay auction. BTW this is A smoking deal I think.. Q: Would you be willing to let the bike go for $3200 cash in person? I actually live in Riverside and I would be able to come pick it up. Jan-29-10 A: so you "actually " live in Riverside and would be "willing " to come right over, aye. Why this must be my lucky day, huh.....NOT Q: i am very interested in your bike, i have been in love with harley and buells since i have been young. i have recently moved to TN from michigan due to family emergency and things are rough, but i need to go riding and your bike looks amazing. how much are you truly wanting for it? a ride would make me feel stress free and not have to deal with terminal bone cancer, alzheimer grandma an her son who just had a double brain anurysm. helping my mom run a business. so im in need of a stress release. hope your not asking to much Jan-29-10 A: Geez Isaaac, "terminal bone cancer, alzheimer grandma an her son who just had a double brain anurysm. helping my mom run a business" Sounds like you need two bikes to be stress free. Bid away and that Firebolt may be in TN. Ask seller a question |

My XB on ebay is sure drawing some flies, huh LOLOL Not much better with the ebay ad for my 1980 BMW..... these anal jokers are wanting me to validate the mileage on a 30 year old motorcycle that I have had for less than two years. They want maintenance records back to the year BC. Just what a biker should do , huh , change the oil and then go write a freaking book about it LOLOLO. check out these question for a laugh. you would think they are buying a NOS bike that was still in the box> http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ewItem&item=300391684132&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK %3AMESELX%3AIT |

your experience reminds me of all the reasons that I hate to sell anything... I'm at the point that I'd rather let shit rot in my garage... about two years ago I had put up an ad for my 85 LeMans... it never sold... but I still get tire kickers, dreamers, and the usual low ball riff-raff... even two years later. so now I just tell them that I threw the bike in the Delaware River off the middle of the Walt Whitman bridge in South Philly. I tell them it made a huge splash and it was really fun to watch. One poor fella-- feigned in an email back to me that he was in shock... "how could you do that to a nice bike" he asked... easy... just look at the circus that Wilcom is going throuh... I don't have the patience any more... Auctions eneded and they wouldn't bid more than $4250 for a new Firebolt and they only got to $1650 for my good solid BMW that is worth $2500...no real buyers , just folks on the fringe trying to steal stuff. This means that I have to bring another bike home (I bought back a bike last week I never shudda sold in 2002) before I shed one of these ...... boy she's really gonna be pissed now!!! My wife can't tell one from another but I see her count'n them whenever she comes into the garage......... |

it's like when i need tools to do something and go get it. it was either that or get frustrated because i don't have the right tool to do something(carpentry)and the wife without fail would ask when i got it and i would always tell her that i had it for quite a while. of course if she reads this the cats out of the bag but i don't do carpentry anymore so i'm not doing that as much. you just need to convince her that it's just not moniterily right at this time to get rid of any bike. good luck with that one though! |
