just did a stoppy into the back of a minivan in Seattle. Yay great day after learning of the demise of the great American Motorcycle Company, I went to see the sites of Seattle. Looked down at my directions looked back up at a stopped van. Need a full headlight and bucket and shifter pedal and linkage to get back on the road, maybe some more. Supposed to be in Eugene Sunday to head back to Wi. tod662(at)hotmail.com Need to buy parts or use them to get back to Wi and ship them back to anybody thanks guys |

hey Tod, man, you get around - no planting/harvesting/milking for awhile, eh? IIRC, the very name of this here wonderful BadWeb site [thanx, Blake!] comes from the Seattle-area beginnings of the Buell era I assume you've already tried the local dealer[s], correct? have you checked into this site's BRAN pages? - the Buell Rider Assistance Network was designed with hard riders like you in mind Seattle has a vibrant M/C scene - I'll bet there's at least 1 M/C salvage yard with a complete Japanese h'lite assy that'll bolt right up to yer S1's fork ears Ducati of Seattle's a cool, helpful place contact SlimDave @ Latus H-D down in Portland, OR finally, FMJ can always overnite parts to you - he's got plenty! - 2 hrs left to catch UPS..... good luck, pal Curt [from the Salt] |

do you realize that you can still shift? use left hand to grab the top horizontal bar on the monkey-linkage, timing throttle on/off to expedite up- or down- shifts |
