Got your PM with the dealer information - thanks again for the help.
I may take you up on the shipping offer if it doesn't pan out with any dealers here. They don't seem to be nearly as customer oriented as you guys and don't seem motivated to get bikes off the showroom floor for whatever reason.
I am going to try and get down this month to the Phoenix area for a test ride.
I'll be in touch depending on what happens.

You won't find a good dealer in the Phoenix area, there are three, Arrowhead, Hacienda, and Chandler. All three are horrible.
Profit is the name of the game, and customer satisfaction does NOT exist.
There's a dealership in Prescott that will treat you well, you might want to try that one.  |

Funny you mentioned that because I actually live in Prescott!
I would have assumed that we wouldn't be the "one" to go to because our town is relatively small by comparison. I find it ironic that someone from the Phoenix area would recommend them - that kind of made me chuckle.
I called Grand Canyon HD - they are actually in Mayer - and the "Buell" guy there told me to try Chandler. They are "getting out of the Buell line" up here according to what he said to me.
At least the sales guy was nice and willing to help me find someone in Phoenix.
But thanks for the heads up - I do appreciate that.
I may wind up switching brands (really hate that) because of the lack of support and service here. Of course, all of the Japanese bikes are readily supported here - even KTM is better supported.
There is one store in Prescott Valley that can service Buell's but they are not dealers - I have to find out if they have someone who can work on the 1125's.
We'll see... |

Isn't there a dealer outside of Flagstaff?
It does suck that we can't find a decent dealership in the whole state. Ride Now is buying them all up and squeezing us all for every last penny.
There are a few decent guys working in those shops, but their hands are tied when it comes to going the extra mile, they can only do so much.
Look at Bumpus, how they not only go out of their way to give us what we want, but have a staff that goes out of its way to provide for us.
That's what I'm talking about.

My brother lives in Nashville so I could go live with him - but my wife and kids may not like that too much:-) I have thought about having him pick up a bike for me from Bumpus but I would still have to get it shipped and then there is the issue of service here.
The place outside of Flagstaff is still Grand Canyon HD - the one up my way is just an affiliate so to speak. They have a showroom and do all the services but I assume if they aren't going to carry Buell any longer then it won't be long before the "mother ship" in Flagstaff follows suit - if they haven't already.
That is why I have tried to talk to Jeremy as much as I can - he actually cares about getting these bikes to the guys that want them and promote Buell.
And yes it does suck that we can't find a decent dealership - too bad all the guys working in the shops get hosed by the owners. |
