So because it was "featured" in a magazine that means its worth something? I've seen and had many of bikes featured in print. Means very little to me. |

all the nuts and bolts on that bike are rusted and I believe that wasn't cultured, but the bike looks to me not well mainteined. beside the 240 rear tire, I don't see anything nice on that bike. the price is definitely too high for a rusty bike... |

The 240 is not a plus, it's a mutation...I'm not diggin' it. |

I think the 240 looks good, but I like my 180 in the corners. |

"but I like my 180 in the corners" exactly, form follows function. now try high siding it and see what you look like afterwards! (and don't forget the tetanus shot!!!) |

Oh, and IIRC, the bike was for sale awhile back by the original owner...So, some of the things may be different... Well damn, I never saw another 240mm XB besides the one in Fuell...There are some damn close similarities...But I still think the guy sold his 240mm XB, and this guy could have bought it and did what he wanted with it Jus' sayin. |

looks more like a copycat to me... too many nice parts on the Fuell bike that are stock on the eBay bike. prime example brakes and tail light also the frame and fork color, the eBay bike looks like a rattle can paint job on the frame and the forks are not black levers are CRG (I think) on the Fuell and stock on the Ebay wrong seat material on the Corbin granted there are a lot of covers but the Fuell bike has a dual inlet airbox cover that is not listed on eBay sprocket and sprocket cover the missing rear spike sliders and rider peg mounts as well as the shifter lever lastly the exhaust is not the same Edit: I left out the header wrap because that does need to be removed and replaced from time to time. like I said a poor copy cat (Message edited by delta_one on September 08, 2009) |
