Instead of rebuilding my forks, i'm just going to order the black forks and triple. What is a FAIR price to ask for these? They need rebuilt(only 11,xxx on them) I'm guessing there is a spring busted on one. I see them on ebay asking $175 a piece and the triples around $100-$150. is $400 to much to ask? I got a buddy who wants to put them on his sporty and im just wondering what they are worth! |

Where were you last week????? I got almost everything I need to put my SS back together, ended up getting a different set of forks and junk. Which fork needs the spring? Depending on what I get in the mail over the next few days I might still need stuff, so I will be in touch. |

damn i forgot about you needing forks. Hell i have been sitting on this for 4-5 weeks now. Im not sure which one is bad. Could just be that it needs a fluid change! But, i do hear some clicking when i push hard enough. |

What is the difference in length between these and the standard XB forks? 2" longer sounds familiar, but memory is fuzzy. |

If you will do $275 shipped for everything I will take it. I picked up a complete set of 03 S forks with trees for $200 plus shipping on ebay, but would rather use the SS forks. I will have to tear your forks apart and figure out whats wrong with them, but that shouldn't be a big deal |

well i decided to just rebuild them. i got two bathrooms im trying to fix and really dont have the time to even sell them right now, because if i did that would require me to go out and take them off and i just dont have the time.... BUT, i got a friend that is a mechanic at the mothership and when he gets time he is going to do it for me. He thinks there was just a slow leak because of the break dust buildup on the right fork and it just needs fluid. BUT, if i change my mind i will let you know first froggy!!
