Where are you going to mount the computer when you switch the front end over? I'm not sure what else the Firebolt has in the fairing that the Lightning has under the tail. I've considered doing the same thing but don't want to switch wiring harnesses. In fact, I would love to put a Uly tail on also so I can have the big luggage (and a comfortable seat) for traveling, but I think the Uly frame is wider. That could probably be made to fit with spacers though. Maybe I should just get a Uly XT. Why are you switching front ends? The Lightning definitely has more attitude. | ||

not sure who you are asking..but i like the chopped fairing look of the firebolts..and also the more aggressive handlebar position. | ||

Sorry, that was for Lowdown. You're right, the Firebolt, with its more aggressive handlebar position, feels more intuitive in the twisties. I had a pair of Lightning bars and top tree on my firebolt for a while and it definitely felt different. I didn't like the way it looked with the Firebolt fairing though so I switched them back. | ||

I like the street fighter look better. I would have bought the s model, but the r model i got for a smoken deal. So ill just make the bike the way i like it. Right now the ride is killing my shoulders. (Message edited by lowdown on August 14, 2009) | ||

again let me know what you want for the lights... I have an S but just the sharper cut off of projectors not sure how I'll integrate yet but... and I still have stock S bars and I know what the problem was with the last shipping quote, it was a new guy at the UPS store so I can get them to you much cheaper now I am sure.
