Need a fuel pump for my 99X1. As far as I know any tube frame FI fuel pump should work. Thanks |

IF YOU REMOVE YOUR PUMP GOOGLE THE PART NUMBER, YOU CAN CROSS IT TO A PARTS MASTER FUEL PUMP. I DID THIS ON MY 99 S3. MOST AUTO VALUE STORES HAVE PARTS MASTER. I THINK IT WAS AROUND $50.00 WHEN I DID MINE. WAY CHEAPER THAN THE DEALER. |

I can't find the box it came in. It was two years ago. But if you take the number off the pump motor body, a auto value store can cross it. |

Todd - Thanks for the offer. I found a dealer near by who was once a Buell dealer and has the pump and lots of other parts he is willing to sell me at a greatly reduced price. If I'm going to have to install a fuel pump I want a new one so hopefully I won't have to do it again for 10 more years! |

Kevon, I went to a parts dealer and found out its off of a Chrysler product but it only shows the pump. I separated the pump from the rest and hook to a battery and it seemed to run find so maybe a regulator or something. Dave |
