Damn, I just realized I put this in the wrong area. Joe, the air cleaner (the old green one) I do not think can be had. I can get a air cleaner from Buell but it is different in finish. I am still making a list and will put part numbers to it soon. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/476 23/474298.html?1246841007 |

Posted to the other thread for ya...I'll dig some tonight and see what I can scare up. Worst case, I'll dig this weekend while I'm off. They're removing 2 screws from my knee on Thurs, so I get a free weekend to "recover" LOL. |

Frank: Who's your buddy . . . . I have a set of wheels (front and rear) that look to be in pristine condition, a throttle cable (not sure which one) and a sidestand sitting here. I'll get some photos and post. You're welcome to whatever you need. |

Who's your buddy . . . . You are!!! I do not need the throttle cable, I was looking for the actual controls and think I found some locally. Both, Front and Rear? I hate to ask why you would have those laying around. Let me know how much for the wheels} and the sidestand and pm me a paypal address or give me a call after 4pm MST. |

I've no clue what they are worth. I'll send them, you see if they work and what you need. If they work, you'll know what they are worth and can pay me then. Questions:
- Want me to send both front and rear wheels?
- Do you need just the kickstand or the entire side plate (needless to say, I have both here on the desk.
- . . . . you knew I did.
No problemo |

I did an inspection of the rear and it looks fine so I would just need the front but if you would like to get rid of them as a set I sure would take them. The side plate would be helpful as well. I know the one on the bike I just picked up is modified however I have not looked at it close enough to figure it out. It would be nice to have a new one to compare and match colors. So yes, sideplate, kickstand and both wheels. I also have no idea what the value is but will make sure you are compensated accordingly. If you have a value in mind let me know. Funny, I kind of threw the items I needed out there not expecting to find any of them. I had the body work in the dinning room and Lynn got pissed and moved it all downstairs to the Buell Room/Poker room and now parts room. I don't know why, after all, I cleaned everything. Of course I did that in the sink and maybe she was getting sick of a house that looked like some S2T guy decorated it. I liked it. |

I think I *MAY* still have a primary cover from a '98 S3T that's in really good shape. I'll check the shed when I get home. |

Great Steve, hey, I need to talk to you anyway. One reason is to thank you for your efforts at Homecoming. If you can send pics to f_skinner@yahoo.com and your phone number with a good time to call you that would be great. |

No need to thank me whatsoever. I helped make suggestions to Kirk Toppel(Hals Son) over at Hals, and helped lead a couple of rides. But that's about it. It's Bud Curtis, and the rest of the gang at Hals that really made things happen. When Buell decided not to do much this year, Hals picked up the ball and ran with it. If you, or anyone else would like to send a thank you, PM me for Kirk's email address. A thank you from a bunch of Buellers would certainly help future Homecoming involvement. Trust me, Homecoming festivities isn't a money making endeavor for Hals. And yes, I'll send ya off a pic tonight of the primary. |

Pre-dig in the garage, I have (just need to put hands on 'em) a new S2 stock seat, and an original greenie S2 air cleaner cover (cover only, unfortunately - it was my spare for when I opened up the leading edge of the one on my bike, in case it sucked water, but it's working fine). I think I have some other stuff out there, too, but I'll dig for ya. We also have one turn signal in stock here at work (LF/RR I think) and I have to put hands on it, but the shifter was here recently if I can find it. I know we had the part that pivots on the peg mount; I'd have to look for the forward part of the linkage that mounts to the shift shaft. Regardless...you send me items you need, I'll get part numbers for ya and order anything you need. No worries. FWIW, and I'm sure you know this, the hand controls are plain ol' 95-earlier HD controls. I've been trying to locate a left lower housing for a cop bike (FLHP or FXRP) with the big honkin' horn button; if you come across that setup in your searches, I'll trade ya for my stock S2 bottom housing and button. |

Joe, I found a shifter and a stock seat locally. The seat is brand new. Funny story, the guy liked the S2 but he said it was not enough power for him so he modified a TL-1000 (?) which he wrecked. All he has left is the seat that he never put on. I guess the TL was a little too much power. I do need that air cleaner cover!!! I am going to replace all the turn signals and may just order them from HCHD. I need an excuse to go see Zac and Jammer anyway. I will be putting together three parts list soon. Parts needed, parts to sell and parts to buy new (ie cables, bearings etc). One good thing about this bike and the performance mods is it has given me clear direction for the 95 S2. This one goes to stock, the 95 will not be stock long. I knew about the controls and may be able to pick those up on ebay. BTW: do you have the mirrors in stock??? Steve, send me that address and I would like to talk to you about a future event. I will pm you later when I have more time. Frank |

I may be ditto on the mirrors. Hopefully Frank doesn't mind me hijacking his thread. What do they go for? The cost may determine how good/bad mine are! (Sucks when you blow yer budget and have a ways to go...) |

List is $36/each for S2 mirrors. Frank - PM me your mailing addy. You've got a green air filter cover coming your way I also found (not much) the stock S2 seat, and a brand new in-bag S2/S3 taillight lens. I have depressingly few spares...I need to get on that. |
