Black Ceramic coated header. The coating has seen better days. But the majority of scratches are on the back side of the header. The header has NEVER been on a bike! $125+ shipping

Pardon my ignorance, but is that ceramic or paint? I thought ceramic would resist scratches to some degree. How much does it cost to coat a set of headers? |

It's not paint, and it doesn't seem like powdercoat either. I'm just going on what I was told about the pipe |

Where'd all the scratches come from? It was never ever on a bike or never on a bike since it's been painted? |

I wish I could afford it. It would look great on a black X1 (like mine). It is a good price. Bump for you. |

The pipe came to me this way. look inside the pipe, it's never been on a bike. It's never been run. |

It looks like a factory coating for a late M2. Looking inside the ports, I'd say it's never been run at all. Nice looking. Too bad it's not a race header...lol |

Yeah, but if it were a race pipe, that has never been run, I'd not be asking only $125 |

The pipes I have had ceramic coated were usually done inside and out I don't know if that is normal though. |

Oh, I know it wouldn't be $125 if it was a race pipe. LOL. Bert - the factory pipes (and this looks like the *factory* black M2 pipe, same as what was on my 99 M2) were only external-coated. Most times when you get a pipe coated aftermarket, they do coat in and out. It's also a different coating. I think the factory only powdercoated for color, not thermal coated. But, I could be wrong (happens every day). |

This looks like a header for an FI Tuber. It has a bong for the O2 sensor. |

bung: threaded insert in header pipe for o2 sensor bong: a different kind of pipe altogether don't use a bong when working on your bung |

Also limit use of bong while posting! It will ensure less confusion. |
