Why the different colors on the gauges...?... I remember the black (o.e h-d) style being the style on a RS I was going to buy from Iron-Block H-D in Adams...was blue color...man I wanted that bike so bad....but ended up buying an FXRS-SP instead (loved that bike as well).... The white ones sort of look like the newer style (like whats on my X1)...just changed them out...?... |

If I could import it into Canada, I would have owned her as soon as the first post went up but unfortunately they're not allowed in. I guess I'm lucky to have the '90 RS. |

Sorry fellas, I've been having trouble with bellsouth, but I've answered all emails now, I think. Not sold yet. Josh- Yes, that's the original fairing for the bike, the original owner changed and painted it. Luv2- Yes, I changed them on mine, still have the originals. Lousirider- Lake's right, it's my busa with beetle bags. |

Rich, I am interested. Can you tell me a little history of the bike like how many owners, VIN which parts have been changed and what stock parts are not with the bike, owners manual included? ect. My email is f_skinner@yahoo.com. I would need to have it shipped so also let me know if you have dealt with a shipping company before, I have not. Just to let you know I am looking at doing a complete restoration but it will be ridden so I am interested in the condition of just about anything. I think your price is way too low so may I ask the reason of that? Thanks to all that PMed me. I just returned from Homecoming so I am way behind on a couple of boards and emails. Frank |

One more thing Rich, can you comment on the timing cover. It appears to be missing. |

Frank - if you need a place to keep it on the east coast, it'd be no problem for me to head to FL and grab it for ya. I promise not to wear shorts when I ride it into the truck, LOL. I'm tryin' like HELL to convince Kim it's OK to call a local guy who has one for sale...but no luck so far Gorgeous bike, though. For what its worth, Frank will give it a very good home. It won't be neglected...or abused. Just appreciated, at home and on the road |

I also expected the bike to be more expensive given its collectible nature... Either way, a great bike, at a great price waiting for a lucky owner. |

Frank: I'd love to see you get this bike. Rich has been a Buell owner since the VERY EARLY days and knows his stuff. There are likely more spare parts available that you think. They are through another company EFB Designs that I will introduce you to. I have service manuals so don't fret if Rich doesn't have the one for this bike. Cool stuff! Court |

I talked to Rich yesterday and yes - he sure knows his stuff. The story behind the belt drive is interesting. I decided to offer him his asking price last night but I haven't heard back from him yet.... You can rest assured that if he sells it to me, it too would be pampered and conserved.... |

Cornel, I would like to see you get it as well. I have not talked to Lynn about it so I am not sure I could get it anyway. She always told me if I bought another bike I would have to get rid of one. I can not think of a better person to have this bike. Frank |

BTW Cornel, I got a couple of PMs but I was at Homecoming in the woods so no Internet. The first thing I thought of was you probably already snagged it. |

Frank, am I known for snagging the old treasures? Well, the paint is not original and neither is the fairing. It is a 92 fairing on a 91 bike. The shock is blown, the tires tired and it served as a donor bike for Rich to keep his other RS alive. But anyways: It IS a RS and they are really not easy to find. It would be my first. Sorry I missed you for Homecoming. I went to NC on family tasks but took the S2 and tried to keep up with my brother in law's SV650 on the Parkway. I did 800 Miles in PERFECT riding conditions and have to say: The S2 can keep up! What a great motorcycle!
