I have a Protaper Carmicheal Bend handlebar on my bike currently. 3 inches lower than stock and 2 inches wider with less sweep (straighter). I love it for sport riding but I've been traveling and riding gravel roads more than sport riding lately. Would like to trade for a taller setup, maybe a stock bar with risers or something similar. This protaper is 7/8" so it fits the stock clamp. It is a great riding position, puts more weight on the front tire and makes you feel really solid in the turns. I can still stand up on gravel roads with it, just not as comfortably as with the stock bar. I've done about 4,500 mi in the last month with it, so it's by no means uncomfortable. Anybody looking for a change? |
