does it have armor? That doesn't look like the one on the Buell website so I'm assuming it's an older model right? If so, do you know where there is a write up about it? |

no hard armor..there are pockets at elbows and shoulders that have "foamarmor" pads in them. i believe the pockets will take the buell (or other brand) armor sets as well definitely an older model but unmolested and essentially like new searched all over the web for jnfo on the older style, but could only find the new |

I have that exact jacket. It has temporfoam armor in the elbows and shoulders. But you can swap that armor out for First Gears core-comp CE armor. But no back pad, and no pocket for one. TONS of pockets. An INCREDIBLY warm jacket to boot. It's basically an older version of the Kilimanjaro from Firstgear. And that Buell logo on the back is quite reflective! |

I also have that jacket. It's my "cold weather" jacket. With the liner, I can ride in sub-freezing temps w/o the slightest bit of chill. Bump for a great product. |

Is it waterproof? Wanna trade for a 98 M2 seat/tail section? |

thanks for the testimonials, guys. i was very disappointed that the xl is too large. i have 2 of the black armored adventure jackets with the blue trim in an xl that are good for me, but this is oversized for me. i'm 180, 5'11' . i hate that i gotta let it go, but at my age, i think i'm unlikely to have a growth spurt. who ever gets it will be pleased.... |

I'll take it if you are willing to send it to Australia, I'll pay the extra freight. Lee |

I have the same and its a great jacket. If it were a 2x, I would buy it just to have another. Did I mention its a great jacket? Buell knows how to keep a rider happy with its gear. |

Steve and Lake Bueller- Help me out a bit on the sizing here.... I'm 5'8" and a stocky 210 pounds. How would you feel the fit would be on this? I'll put a great deal of weight on your opinions! LOL... |

I checked it out and it looks like it is at least $40 US which brings the whole thing up about $260 AUD. That is about what a new Jacket would cost me here (although not a Buell one). Sorry I should have looked into it first. Hope you understand. Regards Lee |
