FMJ, ahh man,,,dang, I sure wouldve rather bought your bike when I was looking. Wish I was on the force now ( should be called up in August), I would be able to find a way to snatch that up. As it is,, I can only dream,, and start up my pearled white beauty and be happy. No riding today though,,,too much MgCl on the roads , that and the snow,,,,lol. Good luck there partner,,,JM |

Bart,if I remember correctly, got it from American Sport Bike for one bike, the other I got from autoparts website.Ordered a bulb type H-4 replacement for a car.Might have been a Hella, was only about 50 bucks. edited by firemanjim on February 05, 2004 |

Whoretimus, look here. the beauty of this set-up is that once installed you don't have the remove the fairing to change out a bulb, and you can get bulbs in different wattages considerably stronger than the 55/60 that came stock in the S2. call Al, he'll fix you up. |

Danny...that's a beautiful ride!!! I only hope mine looks that good when I done building. Are you running an underseat tray on that bike? I can't really tell from the bikes. If so, were did you get it from? Good luck with the sale. If I wasn't already half buried in mine, I'd give it some serious consideration. |

Thanks for the help, Ferris. And Bartimus for the advice. Its a done deal. I'll have to change my handle to S2Eric now. I've never wanted to embarrass Mr. Buell over his mother's spelling error, Ferris. |

Galen, just a thought. My M2 needs a home. $2500 for you. 17500 miles. It needs paint. It runs fantastic. Swap the engine to Betty and part out the rest. Or run the M2 and keep Betty for a parts bike. |

I guess I'll post it again, since I never sold it 2 months ago like I thought I wanted to. For Sale: 1999 Buell S3 16k mi. Race ECM, K&N, 2 windscreens (tall and short), 2 sets bars (tall and short), Buell bike cover, Buell tankbag, service manual, receipts. Lots of 2001 updates, reliability fixes including metal rocker box gaskets, primary chain tensioner, exhaust mount, weld-reinforced muffler, front brake rotor assy, lots of $$$ invested in reliability. 15k service recently performed by dealer, new drive belt. Blue book is $6700, but will consider all offers, reasonable or not! "Demon Blue" with white frame and wheels, looks very sharp. I would give it an 8 on a scale of 1-10. Bike is located in the Seattle area. Seek Truth Luke Sankey sank@spu.edu |
