I have for sale 1 fan unit with all connections and temp sensor for Buell X1 Lightening. 65 bucks plus ship. 1 Set of Aprillia mirrors in perfect shape that I had on my X1. 25 plus ship. One pair of Buell handguards in perfect condition including hardware as on City X and Uly. 50 bucks plus ship. 1 Sprocket cover with frame brace that has been lightly polished in great condition for X1. 25 plus ship. I just saw the price and was going to buy them just to have. I am really look for some chrome bar end mirrors, so those would have been put into my parts collection and not on the bike. (I think Brinnutz is starting to rub off on me.) SO if he still wants them he can have them. | ||

This part number is Z0008.KA The part for S3 is Z0008.MA I think the only difference i9s the S3 is more visible and has the Pegasus emblem engraved on fan shroud. They look identical other than that. IIRC | ||

It fits on left side in between the frame rails and blows across the intake tract to cool down the carb/fuel injection to give motor cool air/fuel mix. Its meant to be used for high heat areas that arent conducive to the bike ability to run. I've never needed it but got it with bike and planned on using it if I ever ran into that situation. Any one have a pic? Anyone? | ||

BTT, I also have a new set of bearings for PM wheels front and rear from American Sport Bike. Also a pair of passenger pegs complete with mounts for the X1 in nuke blue. 45 plus ship for pass pegs/mounts, 65 plus ship for bearings. Someone help me out, make offers, I'm BROKE!!! | ||

Sorry I have been fighting a heat issue with my S3T and want to fix the problem instead of a bandaid. Although I still think the fan unit would be a bonus since I am already seeing temps in the 90's where I live. | ||

Well, this isnt a band-aid fix. Its a genuine Buell upgrade that helps by cooling the intake tract and I would figure maybe part of the rear cylinder. If its high engine temps why not order an oil cooler from Al at American Sport Bike. It did drop the temp on my X1 by 20 degrees. I had sold my Buell before I got to put on the fan unit. Dont rightly know how much this would help but figure cooler air/fuel temps would help overall. Let me know as Dammitquick has Pm'd me and is interested. Not trying to pressure you but would like to let him know since you were first up. Thanks and best of luck. | ||
