chas, after having to take the windscreen off all together on the xt. even after trying the standard one also, i went after markey with the strada bracket and a much taller windscreen. there are other products out there besides the strada so your not limited. i really like the bracket but i think i would go a little wider on the windsceen. skip the buell tall. i basically gave mine away.
