This Jardine has about 15000 miles on it but has been repacked twice and was just freshly repacked with FMF 4-stroke and 2-stroke muffler pack. It has been painted flat black with Rustoleum special high temp paint...because I didnt like the discolored silver look on the bottom of my bike. I have kept the rear cap and fatlet chrome. I have used high temp putty epoxy on the endcap as well as the rivet holes to hold the rivets so you should be good to go for another 5000 miles other than checking rivets from time to time. This muffler has a wicked muffled crackling on decel with this setup when it is freshly packed...in addition to all the decel popping that these Jardines are known for. It sounds like the 410ci racecars I shoot photos of at full song....and after trying a race pipe this one feels like it has more top end....especially if rolling on the throttle above 60 mph. There are no signs of rust...but there is a small cut to the top that I had to make at the front cap to pull it off (shown in pics). There is a dent on the top and bottom at the rear mounting strap from the dumb dealership trying to jack it there. Its not visible though because of the strap...if anything it makes removal and mounting of the pipe easier! All of the hardware for mounting is included other than a rubber protective piece that goes around the mounting strap...easily replaced with some adhesive rubber strips. I will label all the parts so you know how to mount. I am including as a bonus a box of rivets so you have them to fit in case the muffler blows any. I will also include two packs of FMF 2-stroke muffler pack ($20 value) so you have some for a repacking down the road. Shipping is included in the price.
