2000 Buell x1 Lightning racing stripe #217 of 800. only 400 in the us!! It has quite a few aftermarket parts. carbon fiber tank accents, carbon fiber frame plugs, forcewinder air intake, power commander, factory race kit with race ecu, race heads, race header and race exhaust. Custom covered rear seat to match paint, custom shortened turn signals, Billit shifter linkage, polished tail section. Bike has 117hp to the rear wheel. VERY fast. Rear head turner. Its got 11k pampered miles on it and rides better than new. New tires, newer front brake. needs nothing. Hard to find. $6500 Will trade for Harley Davidson Ultra classic electra glide standard street glide or possible other harley baggers Peoria, IL k9t8m@yahoo.com |

its a 1200. I had the forcewinder and power commander and dyno tune done at Jay Riddle Powersports in Morton, IL. I do have the dyno sheet, but its in storage with all the stock parts. |

You sure you didn't have it Dyno'd on 1/17 ? Seems like its a tad high for a naturaly aspirated stock motor with the mods you have listed. What are "Buell Race Heads"...?... |

Those are very big numbers for what your mods are. 117 rwhp is more like a stepped on 1250 or a mid level 88". I don't know if I've seen a 1200 with that much HP.. |

I don't know what's meant by Race Heads but the Forcewinder really does not add much HP/TQ. Some have even seen some reduction on power with the FW. Sorry, just wanted to chime in. Good luck with the sale. |

I can tell you that there's no way it'd run 117 up with the rain sock on! The sock is ONLY for when it's raining, found that out the hard way. It'll cut 4-5 up or more depending on the build. I know a local guy with an X1 carbon fiber edition that claims 132 hp and a lot of other b.s. FWIW. He may not know how to read a dyno either. Then again I also know a guy that has an '07 Nightrain that has "125 hp at the wheel from the factory" LOL. |

I got the reprint of the dyno sheet. You fellas were right, it has 88hp to the wheel. It just happened to make peak hp at 117mph. My mistake, i was just reading it wrong. I have decided to keep the bike. No longer for sale. |

I see. Sorry about my last post; I wasn't trying to sound cynical or imply that you were lying, it's just humorous to me how often people misread the dynosheets. You're making the best decision anyway by keeping it. That's too gorgeous of an X1 to share with anyone else! |
