Late model XB or ? I have a good condition 72 AMG 2 1/2 ton Deuce 6x6 full functioning Military Truck M35A2 with/winch. Multifuel 465ci. multifuel 5 speed, Hi-Lo transfer, Rockwell axles. The multifuel burns anything flamable ...kerosene, used motor oil, gasoline, paint thinner, moonshine, like I say, if it will hold a flame, this motor will burn it.....but realistically it is intended to burn Diesel fuel. It honestly gets from 9-10-11 MPG. Top speed is 62, but your spinning the bajesus out of it, realistically (to live) 45-55 is the sweet spot, primarilly 50 MPH. Body in GOOD cond, as well as drivetrain. Also has the onepiece 'Hard-top" which is removeable for top-off driving. The Hard-top is highly desireable. It has fiberglass troop-seats, and New (5 months old) batteries and is 24 volt. Electric windshield wipers, new oil and filters, 22 Quart oil capacity, 50 gallon fuel tank, Spring seat with good upholstry on both seats. Good Glass and window regulators. Windsheilds fold out A-LA Safari style or windshield folds flat like a Jeep windshield. These are Gnarly go-anywhere trucks. A truck version of a dirtbike. If you get stuck, you'v been behaving badly for sure, theres always the whinch..... The truck is in better condition than most. On ebay this truck would list in the 5-6.5 K region. I can take more pics. Realistically it would be for sale to someone east of the Mississippi......unless you want to drive further...... easily enough, but at 50 ?? Oh well thats your decision. I'm located in South Central North Carolina Close to Charolette, closer to Wadesbourough just south of Charolette by 50 miles .....zip code for Mapquest 28119 WELL think about if you need this kind of Monster. ..... and if you dont want attention, do not buy, not for introverted shy peple, 'cause it draws a fiew bystanders almost always. Street legal, title in hand. I'v had Buells for years, dont pawn some hi-mile junk ,Possable on the right Tuber Will consider C model 1200 Sporty or Glide or.... try me...Heres another thought to consider.....have you seen these 'BOBBED' which intails removing the rear axle, useing front springs and mounts with just one of the rear axles and either shortening this bed or useing a MV trailer bed and putting on 14.00 20 super-single tires.

Deuces are bad ass. I was playing in ours all day yesterday, pulling trees out of the ground (no kidding - we're clearing land). If I thought I could part with one of my tubers and had a need for a second deuce (especially with a hardtop - SWEET), I'd be there in a heartbeat. Although...I *have* been threatening the wife with making her drive it to work. She works 8 miles from home, back roads, on base. I'd pay to see the guards' faces the first time she pulled up to the gate! Oh, and you forgot to mention that the 10,000 lb front PTO winch is an option, and VERY nice to have. Good luck finding a trade/deal, they're awesome trucks. If you do end up getting out of it and have any spares sitting around, drop me a note - I'm always on the lookout. Noticed yesterday that *someone* (wife, father in law) popped a taillight lens on something when they were clearing a couple weeks ago, and now it's broken. Grr. |

You know,..... I don't care if I sale it or not really, I like it enough to keep it. Yea there 'cool' and if times get hard enough, a good survival outfit. Been gone from the forum for about 6 months now, kind of miss all you Louts, (meant in a nice kind of way) Interestingly enough, I traded a much modified 98 Cyclone for it. |

Just for the heack of it, heres what I mean about 'Bobbed'. Ofcourse the Bobber is a no-brainer, but the Rat Patrol version is interesting and if you can fabricate not too difficult to do. Sorry.......I realize this is somewhat (WAY) off of Buell topics, just thought the pictures apt to describe a Bobber

Drool... I want one...so I can do whatever with it. I would drive it the 3/4 mile to work everyday and take up 3 parking spots just so everyone could gawk at it . |

We used to have those in our outfit. We now have FMTV's and the 7 ton MTVR's. Out of all the rigs I've wrenched on in my career I would have to say the Deuce and a half is the best truck in the world. You can seriously run it on anything. If I could get a loan for it I would offer you what you want. I hold dear my years in service and this would be awesome to own. Who needs a shaddow box full of ribbons, tabs and badges when you got a momento in the driveway. We had an E-7 that had his own HMMWV and the CO started bitching to the maitenance officer to get the equipment out of the POV lot. You have no idea how much I admire the Deuce. |
