Color-matched (Billet Metallic), deep hard bags that came with my bike. I don't need the storage most of the time and don't wish to have the mounting bracket on the bike when bags aren't in use. I'll probably get some portable softbags for my limited use. The hardbags have some repaired cracks on the bike side of each. One bag more than another. Someone did a decent job of plastic welding to fix cracks. The guy I bought the bike from said they were this way when he got the bike, done by the original owner. I'd reinforce them just to be sure. Here's a link to that process: http://badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/3842/34032.html?1084464052 Also, the outside cover of one of the bags has a scrape on the lower rear corner. Inner, suitcase-type liners are included and are perfect. I'd be open to a partial trade for some soft bags; otherwise I was thinking $450 for the setup outright. Let me know if that price is out of line. I've got many pictures I could send; just email me through BadWeb, or directly to Steve.Schiebel@cmd-corp.com

I wonder if there is anyway to mount these on an M2...that would be awesome. |

Wilson, the frame is the same but the bodywork is not. That would be your challenge. |

Outta my price range. I need to finish refreshing the bike from the ground up. Though I do have a ton of Buell saddlebags. |

What do you folks feel is a fair price for these bags and the mounting bracket? I'll throw them up on ebay if no one here expresses any interest. |

There was a brand new set of deep covers on ebay here a fews weeks back with bidding starting $200. They did not sell. The bag bases look like they could be a little rough. Do you have a better photo of the bondo work? At some point you will wish dearly that you still had them if you sale them. |

I’m now thinking of hanging onto the saddlebags. A lot of folks are telling me I’d eventually be sorry for selling them, especially if I ever decide to sell the bike. A new purchaser would probably like to have the original bags. |

I agree - someone looking for an S3T wants an S3T, and that means bags - deep or shallow. I woudln't even consider one without them. |
