I am thinking about letting my Buell Lightning go. It is a limited edition Millennium X1 Has quite a bit of aftermarket chrome on it as you can see by the photos. Sorry about the pictures not being outside but that is part of why I am selling too little riding weather. It has about 13,000 miles on it. I will confirm the exact miles and post them up. It is in great order over all. It has been ridden but is a nice looking bike. Has chrome PM wheels vance and hines exhaust and K and N airfilter. Used ECM spy software to download the race ECM program to the bike and the buyer gets the software and cable for the bike. It is number 25 of 800. I have lots of ebay feedback under the user name mrsinisterarcher. I have helped with shipping bikes in terms of loading up trucks or making recomendations on some good shippers when needed. I am located near Quincy IL in the town of Liberty. Bike runs great. Rear tire was new last fall and the front is worn quite a bit. Would need to be replaced some time soon. All other mechanicals are up to date. | ||

I was wrong on the miles on the bike. It has as of today 25,000 miles on it. With that in mind I will drop the price down to $3,500.00 I think that is more than reasonable. | ||

Thanks for the comment. In these tough echonomic times we are in I have decided I will keep the ECM spy software and cable in case I get another buell and will drop the price to $3,000.00. That should move it right quick. I would rather sell it here than ebay. | ||

Guys the bike is still for sale. Had two interested but it seems to be hard to lay hands on cash these days go figure that LOL. I think it all went to the CEO's bonuses. It is still for sale and listed on the bay. All it takes is cash. The last price of $3,000 is solid no lower on it. I looked it up on Kelly Blue book and the bike with no additions has a trade in value of around $3,500.00 on there so this is really a steal. Which means if you find the cash you can pay that for it and still ride it like you stole it. | ||

Well number 25 of 800 is no more. Looks like it is going to join the many tubers to become another hacked together chopper. Oh well if it ain't worth three grand it had might as well be chopped up. Thread can be closed bike is traded. | ||

Sorry man I wasn't kidding it is traded off. I had it on here for a while and ran it on ebay and couldn't so much as pull three grand out of it so now it will gain new value as a custom chopper. One less tuber out there I guess. | ||

Yup. I also hate to see it but it didn't even bring a bid for three grand on ebay. I would hate to say what all the chrome and wheels are worth alone but that does make it attractive to the chopper hounds. I guess it just adds value to the ones that are left. From what I see they could use it. | ||
