I just got my Fehling rack put on my bike, and it's great. Eventually I'll get a nice Givi topcase for it, but it works great for hauling my Kuryakyn bag. http://www.twistedthrottle.com/trade/productview/3 745/474/ It was a little interesting to put on, since it didn't have instructions and what little documentation there was was in German. It's not OEM equipment, but I like it better than the rack that Buell sells. I don't think it will work with the Buell bags, or any other HB bags, but Givi makes nice stuff with lots of options. If you don't need the OEM rack, it might be a good option. | ||

Ouch - I ordered this from my local dealer and it turns out that this bracket is only, well a bracket. One piece and is not the entire top rack. And of course, I put this off until the week before a one week tour... | ||

My local dealer now claims that they can't order the rest of the top-case rack. I fully understand the safety issue of not installing it without the side case racks, but I HAVE THE SIDECASE racks on the bike already. I just want to spend some money and solve a luggage problem. Why does this have to be so difficult? |
