I bought a 2003 Xb9s and it came with a nice Corbin seat and the stock low seat. The Corbin seat is perfect but sits a little to tall for me and makes stop lights a pain. So I am willing to trade it for a Lightning select seat. The corbin costs much more going for $275 used. I will also consider trade for a set of plastic (airbox cover, fender, etc) in any color but yellow. Any trade will be considered. Thanks (Message edited by raiken1 on March 24, 2009) | ||

Here are a few pics, sorry they arent the best quality. Its the carbon fiber look with a yellow stripe. No tears or problems at all. New they are $439. Ill take $225 plus shipping or trades as I said above. Thanks | ||

how do you go about dying the yellow strip? I was wondering about how to get rid of the yellow without creating too much work but i couldn't come up with anything...lemme know how to dye it! | ||

I didnt know you could die it. It is a very small amount of yellow though. Im sure someone at an apolstery place could just take it off too. | ||

How is this seat for longer rides? Would a gel seat be significantly better? | ||

I recently rode about 300 miles to the beach and 300 back. The seat was great. Its quite wide and has 5 inches of back support. Im kind of a short guy however so the combo of it being a bit taller than the low seat and wider it makes impractical for anything but long trips for me. Its a grade A seat though without a single scratch or blemish. | ||
