I didn't realize they had a gel insert. Is the XT seat on the 08 the same height as the 06 gel? I'm wanting to see how the handling is with the low. No, the XT seat is the same as the '07 stock seats for the UlyX, sort of halfway between the stock '06 and the '06 Low gel optional seat. I can touch the ground with the 06 but wanted a little lower for better handling. I still need one that is comfortable for longer trips. Let me know on the seat, I may still want one it to try out. I found out on seats you have to ride them for awahile before you can make a judgment on how it will work.
