Thanks for the heads up . . . we stayed an extra day so I could attend my old church and hang out at Mom's for another day. We'll head home tomorrow or the next day and hopefully be there later this week. Occurred to us that, other than my school work which I am submitting via e-mail, that we really don't have any deadline to get back. Americans are funny folks . . . out of habit we (and I am the worst) just naturally hurry. It's nice, albeit rare, to not care if we get home in 2 days or 8. I expect to find some snow heading to St. Louis tomorrow, we'll stay in Louisville tomorrow night and try to make Roanoke, VA the next day. Ride careful B! | ||

I wrote one of my favorite stories, entitled "Bridges to Nowhere" in 1997 about American's inbred need to always be in a hurry, always "doing something" and always attempting to optimize the moment. Last summer, on the 4th of July, I was staying in rural Wisconsin and, under the guise of taking photos of the night sky, got to wander out in a field, lay down and stare at the sky. 5 minutes that were likely the equivalent of 25 hours of therapy. I did a series on Dreaming I may have to revive. . . | ||

hey Sprink, that small sticker you mentioned - izzat the same one as the "Save This Date" silver Pegasus 25th sticker? they were at the bottom of the square, silver-&-black card for '08 Homecoming handed out at "Cycle World" shows, etc.... I'd REALLY like to have 1 of those stickers for my helmet since UK Whitey's claimed yours, does anyone else have 1 available for me? thanx | ||
