Do keep in mind the 95 and 96 wiring connectors for the ecm were different... |

Hi Todd good to know this. I need an S2 wiring loom because I want to put an 2002 X1 engine in an 91 RSS frame/ chassis and I don't want to modify the original wire harness, so my tought was to have an S2 wiring loom ( with the 1" switches for the RSS handlebars and the newer wiring connectors) So what is the exact difference between the ecm ? By the way I will use a carb on the engine. Thanks in advance for your help. Basti (Message edited by basti on January 15, 2009) |

Hi Todd I read my S2 books and found the difference already the 96 has the deutsch style connector ( this is the same as the later S1 M2 X1), so the best would be a complete 96 S2 wiring loom with switches. Thanks Basti |
