I just talked to the guy and it sounds legit. He bought it from the original owner and has the title, but has not registered it in his name. It was pushed over by someone trying to steal it from the original owner, but it was parked on dirt at the time so there is minimal damage. I find it funny a member of this site can post/sell a bike with no title/paper work and no one bats an eye, but someone posts a bike reasonably priced (one like this just sold on ebay for $2700) on CL and it is perceived as a scam. | ||

Matt, if this bike turns out legit and you end up getting it, please remember who turned you on to it.  Ferris ps: i used to have an Ice White Pearl '96 Thunderbolt, the infamous BLURR, the machine that originally sucked me into the madness that is Buell. the bike is long gone, the pieces scattered to the four winds, but it still calls to me. so much so that i reaaaaaaaaaaaaly hesitated posting up this link last night, if you catch my drift... anyway, if you get this bike i'm very happy for you, and i insist we meet up somewhere so i can suitably drool all over it. yes, the first round is on you.
